How do I measure my window?

For an inside mount, measure the exact opening width at top, middle, and bottom and use the narrowest number, then measure the height — we make the small factory deductions for you. For an outside mount, measure the area you want covered and add 2–3 inches on each side for better light blockage. The configurator shows step-by-step diagrams for both.

Inside mount or outside mount — which should I choose?

Inside mount sits within the window frame for a clean, built-in look and needs about 2 inches of flat depth. Outside mount attaches to the wall or trim above the window, covers the whole opening, and blocks more light — the better choice for shallow frames or maximum darkness.

How long until my shades arrive?

Every shade is made to order at our California workshop and ships within 5–10 business days of payment, plus carrier transit time. Larger, motorized, or premium-fabric orders can add 2–3 days to production.

Can I return a custom shade?

Because each shade is cut to your exact measurements, custom orders can't be returned or resold. That's why we mail free fabric samples before you buy, and why every shade is covered by our 2-year workmanship warranty. If your order arrives damaged or defective, report it within 7 days with photos and we'll make it right.

Do you offer free samples?

Yes — pick up to 5 fabrics and we'll mail the real swatches to any US address, free. Seeing the weave and color in your own light is the best way to choose with confidence.

What does the warranty cover?

Hardware, mechanism, and motors are covered for 2 years against workmanship defects under normal residential use. Fabric is warranted against manufacturer defect for 1 year. Damage from misuse, improper installation, or normal sun fade isn't covered.

What motorized options are available?

Rechargeable battery motors with remote control, plus smart-home options supporting Zigbee and Matter so you can automate shades with Alexa, Google Home, or Apple Home. Solar panels and hardwired power are available for larger installations.

What if my shade arrives damaged?

Email customer.service@hiladuo.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. We'll remake or repair it at no cost — shipping damage is on us, not you.

How do I pay, and is it secure?

Checkout is powered by Stripe, the same payment platform used by Amazon and Shopify merchants worldwide. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Card numbers never touch our servers, and sales tax is calculated automatically where required.

Who makes HILADUO shades?

HILADUO is the window-treatment brand of CES 2020 LLC, based in Chino, California. Every shade is cut, assembled, and quality-checked at our own facility — no drop-shipping.
