Who we are

HILADUO is a brand of CES 2020 LLC ("we", "us"), based in California, USA. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit hiladuo.com or place an order.

What we collect

  • Order information — name, email, phone, shipping address, items ordered, payment confirmation (no card numbers; Stripe handles those).
  • Site analytics — pages viewed, device type, approximate location from IP. We use this to improve the site.
  • Customer service email — anything you send to customer.service@hiladuo.com is stored for support history.

How we use it

  • To process your order, ship it, and provide post-sale support.
  • To send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and account emails.
  • To detect fraud and comply with applicable tax law.
  • To improve the site and product photography.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We don't share your email with marketing partners.

Service providers we use

  • Stripe — payment processing, sales tax, fraud detection.
  • Resend — transactional email (order confirmations, shipping notices).
  • Vercel — site hosting and CDN.
  • USPS / UPS / FedEx — shipping carriers we use for fulfillment.

Each of these has its own privacy policy and is GDPR/CCPA-compliant.

Site chat assistant

The chat window on hiladuo.com is answered by an AI assistant, not a person. It says so in its first message. What you type or upload in the chat (including photos) is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate replies, and the transcript is emailed to customer.service@hiladuo.com so a team member can follow up. We do not use chat transcripts for advertising. If you prefer a human, email customer.service@hiladuo.com and a person will reply.

Cookies

We use minimal first-party cookies to keep your cart between page views and remember your customizer choices. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights (CCPA / GDPR)

You can request a copy of the data we have on you, or ask us to delete it. Email customer.service@hiladuo.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Note that deleting an order record may make warranty support impossible for that order.
